In 1975, longtime Camden resident, Bill Mclin had visions that were ahead of his time. He built the first
car wash and storage facility in Benton County, and one of the first storage
buildings in Tennessee. Bill always welcomed renters, friends and family to
visit him on Highway 70 and relax over a cool drink. To ensure his legacy would
live on after he was gone, in 1994, Bill left his vision to his friend Larry
who he knew shared the same sense of community. After decades of handing out so
many free car washes that he nearly went bankrupt, Larry called upon his son
Matthew to join the family business. Matthew seeks to balance Bill’s vision of
kindness with a strong focus on growing the business to provide more quality,
varied storage options, and a user-friendly experience for Camden and the
surrounding areas.
